This myth has been going around for years and years. But the truth is that your body does not really recognise what time it is and studies have shown that it does not process the food differently at different times of a day. The total amount of calories is what really matters. So it is not WHEN you eat but WHAT and HOW MUCH you eat that makes the difference. Obviously, if you will be munching on high calorie food late at night you will gain weight but not because of the time but because of the extra calories you have eaten.
